I’m Varun Chaudhry, proud co-owner of Kraft Mortgages Canada Inc, along with my business partner, Gursharan Dhaliwal.
I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.
I started my career twelve years ago with a bank which provided superior services, but it’s lack of customer service, left me feeling empty inside. As my expectations were higher, I was itching to break out, and in 2014, when the opportunity arose, I set out and established my own mortgage brokerage.
Over the past five years, I have witnessed pivotal changes that have affected the industry. One of the biggest of these changes has been the inclusion of the stress test. It has made it more challenging for first time home buyers to get onto the property ladder and thrown up a few other challenges. Despite the roadblocks, my wealth of knowledge and experience have helped me steer my clients into their new homes.
I also have a keen eye for detail and to help my clients obtain the ideal mortgage, I review each file and submit it to the most appropriate lender, which creates greater synergy. I have a rare confidence in my abilities to secure a mortgage when there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel.
Having a determined mindset is what I believe sets me apart from the others. I am passionate about brokering deals, and clients respect my innovation and consistency. Maintaining this integrity is important to me, as it is the foundation of the business, and aligned with my vision.
To help us keep scaling greater heights, I currently mentor a team of sixty brokers that combine to create highly successful solutions.
When I observe my corporate goals being achieved, it motivates me further as client satisfaction is the most rewarding part of running my own company. Going forward, I aim to continue working with the same enthusiasm when providing optimum lending strategies.
When I am not closing mortgages, I like to have fun with my family. I also love to travel and explore different places across the world, which allows me to imbibe new cultures and brings a fresh perspective to my life.
